Corinthians 9:6-8
The Cheerful Giver
Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.
You will notice that we do not pass an offering plate. All giving is done privately either online or placed in the designated offering box. Giving is to be done thoughtfully, sacrificially and generously with joy! We are to give based upon "how God has prospered us". (1Corinthians 16:2) God promises blessings to those who give. Luke 6:38 says "Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
